Description

Get your furry friends ready to strut their stuff! You're invited to the South Elgin Pet Parade! This is a chance for our community to come together and showcase our beloved pets.

**Pets must be leashed during the entire event**

1. Pre-Registration open through Thursday, October 2, 2025 — section #33611

2. On-site Registration — will open from 9:30 to 9:50 am

3. Parade/Judging begins at approximately 10 am — will march along the sidewalk on South Water St.

4. Categories: Scariest, Cutest, Funniest & Best Owner/Pet Costume

5. Awards will be given to the winner in each category, will be awarded immediately following the event

6. Rules:

Dogs must be on a leash for the parade

Dogs must be under the control of a participant 16 years old or older

All Pre-registered Dogs will check-in at the registration table

All contestants must be in the assigned parade area no later than 9:55 am

Each entry is eligible for only one award

Dogs must be current on vaccinations

No aggressive dogs or dogs in heat
